The Hand-Operated Washing Bucket is made from two repurposed 5 gallon buckets. All buckets are waste from local businesses in the Willamette Valley that would have otherwise gone into a landfill. One 5 gallon bucket remains intact, while the other consists of evenly spaced holes for draining. A plunger with holes is also provided as a tool for the washing function. This hand-operated washing machine allows for a quick, easy, and convenient way to wash garments for people who aim to conserve energy, do not have access to a conventional washer, live in a small space, are out camping, or want a separate place to wash messier items such as cleaning rags, pet supplies, or even delicate fabrics. All buckets are food grade and are safe for handling and washing materials. Please note that orders of bucket products only ship on Mondays and Thursdays. The X’s are sealed with waterproof glue and a heavy duty Branching Together sticker, so water will not seep through.
