Earl Tupper developed a home products line of plastic containers to be used in households to contain food & keep it airtight. Tupperware was introduced to the public in 1948 & quickly became a success. Tupperware Parties allowed for women to work & enjoy the benefits of earning an income while hosting lavish & outlandishly themed parties! This Celery Keeper is classic 1970's refrigerator Tupperware. The base is in celadon green with an opaque lid. The base has square groves to keep the celery raised from the bottom of the container. Container also very useful for holding other types of vegetables like long carrots & asparagus! A nice smaller size perfect to fit in your veggie drawer.
