This glassware set includes one Bessho Carafe and six Rila Large Glasses. Inspired by a trip to the healing hot springs of an onsen in Bessho, Japan, the Bessho Collection is an exploration by Ferrone that challenges handcraft techniques by creating a ribbon of smooth glass around the rim, establishing a visual and ph.

Inspired by a trip to the healing hot springs of an onsen in Bessho, Japan, the Bessho Collection is an exploration by Ferrone that challenges handcraft techniques by creating a ribbon of smooth glass around the rim, establishing a visual and physical transition between the fluted and smooth glass, and the mouth.

Inspired by the architecture of the Monastery of Saint Ivan of Rila in Bulgaria, the Rila experiments with volume and form, pushing the boundaries of hand-formed craftsmanship through the combination of fluted and smooth glass, and brings a new silhouette to the table.

Each piece is handcrafted by master glassblowers of fluted Borosilicate glass allowing for thermal resistance for a range of hot and cold applications. The designer collection is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
